Get Vaccinated

Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care can help you get ready for your trip abroad. Many travel-related diseases are preventable with vaccination, and we offer both routine and travel vaccines to protect your health. Our healthcare professionals can consult with you about:

  • Recommended travel related vaccines and medicines you might need for the destination.
  • Any routine vaccinations to get updated, as many diseases that are now uncommon in the United States still occur in other countries.
  • Common health concerns and specific diseases that can affect you while traveling.

Some common vaccines we offer are Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies, Yellow Fever, Tetanus and Influenza. We can help you determine which vaccines, if any, you may need before travel.

Take COVID-19 Precautions.

It’s also important to take steps to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 when traveling. Check your destination for any travel requirements or restrictions first, and make sure to follow these precautions:

  1. Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.
  2. Wear a mask in the airport, airplane and public settings.
  3. Practice social distancing (6 feet apart) while at the airport and in public places.
  4. Check your airline, hotel or other travel accommodations for their safety measures.

Our healthcare professionals can help you walk through a COVID-19 safety plan. We also provide convenient COVID-19 testing and antibody testing to the community.
