Urgent Care

Efficient Care for Immediate Medical Needs

At Jupiter Medical Center, our urgent care centers are available for patients in need of immediate medical assistance. When you develop an injury or certain symptoms that can’t wait for an appointment with your primary physician, our urgent care team is here to help.

Urgent care centers are a great way to receive fast and cost-effective care for non-emergent injuries and conditions. This is an important distinction, as life-threatening conditions are best treated in an emergency room. If symptoms become severe, such as difficulty breathing or loss of consciousness, be sure to call 911 to receive emergency care.

When symptoms are minor but require prompt medical attention, urgent care is a great option.

If you or a loved one is in need of urgent care, call 561-263-7010.

Urgent Care for Physicals

Whether you need a physical for work, school, sports, or pre-surgery, stop by any of our urgent care locations for thorough testing and care. Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care provides fast and affordable walk-in service at all five of our locations.

A comprehensive physical examination helps your provider spot medical problems and clear you for school or sport activities, or for an upcoming surgery. Whatever the reason may be, these exams can be essential to your overall health. That’s why we make it easy to get a physical when it’s convenient for you, right in your own neighborhood.

Physicals for Pre-Operative Clearances

Undergoing surgery, you'll need pre-operative clearance to provide your physician and surgical specialist. You can obtain your clearance and physical at any of Jupiter Medical Center's five Urgent Care locations.

Pre-operative testing includes:

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Covid-19 testing
  • Chemistry Panel
  • Chest X-Ray
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Physical Examination
  • Prothrombin Time (PT)
  • Partial Thromboplastin Time (PTT)
  • Urinalysis

General Adult Physical Examinations

When it comes to staying on top of your health, an annual physical is a must. Finding time for a physical between work, school, and/or family obligations can be difficult, which is why we offer convenient, walk-in physicals for extended hours on weekdays and weekends.

Camp, School, and Sports Physicals

If your child is in need of a screening or a physical before starting camp, school, or participating in a sports activity, visit a Jupiter Medical Urgent Care Center today. These types of physicals ensure that your child is healthy and ready to begin a new activity or school year.

  • Sports physicals – Most schools and clubs require participants to undergo a physical examination. A sports physical is important for finding any health issues that could be exacerbated by physical activity.
  • School physicals – Many schools in Florida require that students undergo a physical examination before enrolling. Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care can make sure your child is physically and mentally ready for the new school year.
  • Camp physicals – Camps often require children to undergo physicals for liability reasons. Given that your child will be in a new environment with new people, it is a good idea to have them receive a checkup to ensure they are physically capable and do not have any conditions that could put other children at risk.
